Step
1. Research
The basis for any successful writing project is research. A
thorough study of your subject will yield more desireable results.
Your end product will be more accurate and the details will provide
a strong foundation to create a compelling story that book buyers
will want to read.
Step 2. Create a Manuscript
Creating a manuscript can take months and more often than not,
years. Preparing a manuscript for literary publication can be a
tedious task, especially when you have to rely on outside resources
to help copyedit your work. Liberated Publishing has in house
editors who can help you transfrom your work into publication-
ready material.
Step 3. Build a Book
Fromatting and design are key elements to the success of your book.
Remember the familiar adage, "Don't judge a book by its cover"?
Book buyers do. In fact, the leading reason why consumers pick up a
book is because it has an interesting, eye-catching cover. The
inside formating is equally important as readability is crucial.
The design team at Haymakers Designs recommends formatting and
design styles based on each book's content, genre, and audience.
Your team collaborates with you to ensure a quality product.
After the book has been formatted and the final galley is sent, you
select the appropiate royalty rate and then determine the price of
your own book. Once the final galley and cover are both approved,
your book will be sent to our printer.
Once the printer receives the file, the first book will be printed
and shipped to you within five to ten days. At that time, the book
is available for order from LiberatedPublishing.com Within 35 days,
the book will be available for order from amazon.com.
Step 4. Off to Market
Begin creating a marketing and promotional agenda well before the
book is published. Know how you want to effectively market so
you'll stay on the path you intended and can do so with relative
ease.
Another key to marketing success is networking. The power of
networking allows you to form valuable relationships that will
strengthen the alliance of people who appreciate what you do and
are willing to tell others and so on. attend writers' conferences
and take classes. Check with local networking organizations to meet
new people willing to talk about you and your work to others.
